The PV3S flatbed truck is a Czechoslovak medium 3-axle 6x6 truck. It was designed for transporting personnel and materials both on and off-road and for towing trailers. The PV3S flatbed truck version is a flagship and a basic chassis version, on which an immense number of different bodies were mounted in the course of time.
The vehicle’s development was based on needs that originated from the Second World War, which is why it has an excellent off-road capability to the detriment of maximum speed, a fact that was considered an advantage. Its production began in 1953 and took place until the 1980s, and it served in in the army for an unbelievable 30 years.
