Two tanks, originally owned by the Polish Army, are in stock. Very good technical condition. Only 40 Km ( 43 Mth ) and 160 Km ( 14 Mth). It is possible to buy a bridge deck or a chassis separately.
MT-55A Armoured vehicle-launched bridge. The base consists of a T-55 tank chassis without the turret assembly. Modified for transporting, installing and dismantling a 18 m long scissor bridge construction. Its essential equipment includes the “RIEKA”, an assembly for deep wading, fire protection and protection against WMD. The tank was designed mainly for rapidly bridging anti-tank and other barriers.
The development and production of the MT-55A was ordered in 1964 in the development companies TEES Martin and VOP. One year later the first tests began. After several failures, improvements and modifications, in 1968 the process was successfully completed. Serial production took place from 1973 until 1983 and the total volume of the tanks delivered to the Czechoslovak People’s army was about 1,270 units.
The types that are available in our stock (BLG-67MP - as the equivalent
of the Soviet MT-55) are equipped with T-72 bridges with a load capacity
of 50 tons.
