2S7 PION "Peony" A Soviet self-propelled gun on a tracked chassis with a gun calibre of 203.2 mm. A 7-member crew. Its shooting range reached up to 50 - 60 Km when using special rocket projectiles and 37.5 Km when using normal ammunition.
Originally it was a secret weapon of the Soviet Union, designed to destroy artillery positions, cause damage and chaos to rendezvous points, destroy the adversary’s fortification and live forces. It was also possible to shoot projectiles with nuclear warheads. The chassis is based on the T-80 tank and the gun is comparable to a ship’s guns. The gun’s lifespan was only 160 shots and then it had to be replaced.
